A spiritually maturing consciousness will inevitably have a strong necessity to establish and often proclaim its antecedents. The whole idea of a spiritual path is in reality nothing more than an attempt to identify and validate self-consciousness. Is there anyone in the world with the discernment to see that the admonition: “Know Yourself” or “To thine own self be true” is paradoxical?
Knowledge cannot be gained by your perceptions and is most certainly not conceptional. That’s the whole dilemma. You actually believe you can have a conception of yourself, or selfness.
To know yourself is to be yourself.
To conceive is to have an idea.
To create is to be an idea.
It is impossible for you to have or to make anything.
It is possible for you to be and to create everything.
