Revelation is not reciprocal.
Your relationship with Truth in no way involves reciprocity. What could be more blasphemous to God, or in reality to yourself, than to ask Him for a favor? You keep trying to make a deal with Truth. You are playing a losing game. You keep trying to bet what you have against what He Is. You end up with nothing and He still is Everything. To have is only to be.
