The expression “Don’t throw out the baby with the bath water” expresses very well the limited persona’s determination to hold on to unreality. You are never going to get your “baby” clean. Its corruption but describes your state of mind.
Finally, the process is simple. If you feel you must scrub the “baby” first, go ahead. Then throw out the bath water, then throw out the “baby”. Obviously then, you’ll have no use for the tub, so throw that out too.
